In February, the girls from the Girls' Club took part in an oral health workshop that combined modern practices with traditional knowledge. During the meeting, they learnt about the importance of brushing their teeth, flossing and the use of Mulala roots - an ancestral oral hygiene technique still valued in many Mozambican communities, especially in the communities where the LevasFlor Foundation operates.

The activity reinforces the Clube das Raparigas project's commitment to promoting the integral well-being of children, connecting health, cultural identity and community strengthening. Strengthening self-care from an early age is essential for building healthier and more aware generations.

In addition to the workshop, the month was also marked by a special moment: Receiving Books Day, which kicked off the project's activities and the 2025 school year. Each participant received selected reading materials to stimulate a love of reading and critical thinking. This was followed by the First Reading Workshop, where the girls were able to explore stories, exchange ideas and develop expression skills, while also playing mental stimulation games to better develop their skills.

Closing with joy and creativity, an itinerant cinema session was held, bringing culture and reflection to the communities in an accessible and engaging way. By uniting health, education and art, the project strengthens girls as agents of local transformation, prepared to face challenges and build fairer and more sustainable futures.

Funding for the next phase of the Girls' Club has already been secured until April 2026.
