As part of the celebrations for Inhaminga (Cheringoma) Day on September 20th, Fundação LevasFlor (FLF) took part in the Agricultural and Gastronomic Fair, where it highlighted the progress made in the communities benefiting from the Triple Resilence (3R) Project, with a special focus on vegetable production.
The main objective of participating in the fair was to present results and exhibit products produced at the community level, thus strengthening the idea of expanding the sales market to ensure the economic security of the communities.
The event also served as a showcase to demonstrate the impact of FLF's actions in the communities. A notable example is the community of Maciamboza, which was previously seen as an area with no potential for horticulture. It has been shown that with technical support and community mobilisation, it is possible to produce on a large scale and with high quality in discredited areas and fields.
Fundação LevasFlor also emphasises that it will continue to work together with communities and in partnership with the district authority, ensuring that initiatives do not end the project cycle, showing that collaboration is important and ongoing.
