Under the slogan “Caring for those who care for me!”, the Girls’ Club held a special awareness session on breast cancer as part of Fundação LevasFlor’s health education initiatives. The goal: to help girls understand a disease that affects millions of women around the world and to inspire empathy, care, and self-awareness from an early age.

Each year, nearly half a million people lose their lives to breast cancer. Talking about it early helps children learn the importance of prevention, early diagnosis, and compassion for the women who nurture them — mothers, aunts, and caregivers.

During the session, participants engaged in reading, open dialogue, and creative activities that encouraged reflection on self-care and solidarity. In a light and age-appropriate way, the girls learned that caring for their health is an act of love — for themselves and for others.

Through initiatives like this, Fundação LevasFlor strengthens its commitment to empowering girls with knowledge and confidence. The Girls’ Club continues to shape an informed, empathetic generation — ready to care, act, and inspire change.
